How is climate change impacting your community?
Through my work in welfare I see climate change impacting the quality of many people’s lives. One example is lack of social housing capable of withstanding the increasing frequency and intensity of heatwaves during Summer.

In my personal life, making sure my money is going to green businesses is getting harder with larger polluting industries taking over.

What are you passionate about changing?
I am passionate about changing people’s awareness of climate change while providing hope and positivity. I want to empower people to take the small steps to adapt and help them to see how they are a part of a bigger movement making a change.
I started my climate change awareness while travelling through Mongolia, I was inspired to see nomadic locals with an extremely low carbon footprint. My travelling partner was able to exchange physiotherapy tips and skills which gave our travel a long-lasting effect on the area. Learning through others and stories are so important.
